March-ing into Major Tournaments
With several major tournaments taking place across the country in March, the spotlight turns to the incredible golfers competing and growing the game.
This month’s Australian women’s golf calendar has delivered a strong run of events. The Australian Women’s Classic at Magenta Shores, followed by the Women’s Australian Open at Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide, this weekend. The momentum continues later this month with the Australian WPGA Championship at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, where players compete for the Karrie Webb Cup in one of the standout events on the WPGA Tour of Australasia.
These tournaments highlight the strength and depth of the elite women in golf. They also reflect something bigger happening across the industry in Australia, more women playing, sharing and influencing the sport than ever before.
Growing the Women’s Golf Community
Across Australia, more women are picking up clubs, walking the fairways and sharing their golf journey with others. Social media has played a major role in the growth of women’s golf communities. Through course vlogs, practice tips, equipment insights, fairway fashion and everyday golf moments, women across the game are creating spaces where new players feel encouraged to get involved.
What once felt like an intimidating sport is increasingly becoming more social and accessible. At Motocaddy, we’re proud to support the professionals, competitive amateurs and casual players like Chloe Gallagher and Portia Hill, who bring fresh energy and accessibility to golf. These incredible women help make golf more visible, more welcoming and more relatable for new players.

Walking golf is also part of that shift as more golfers prioritise health, wellness and endurance on the course. With the right equipment, players can focus on their swing and strategy, rather than the weight of their bag.
As we celebrate the women competing on some of the country’s biggest stages this month, let us also recognise the broader community of talented women helping to grow the game every day. Let us encourage our friends, daughters, and colleagues to pursue the sport, ensuring that the momentum behind women’s golf continues to grow.
