About Us

Welcome to Motocaddy...
Motocaddy began in 2004 with a clear purpose to make walking golf easier, smarter, and more enjoyable for every player. What started as a small team of golfers and engineers in the UK has grown into the world’s number one premium electric golf buggy brand, trusted by millions and available in more than forty countries.
From the moment the original S1 changed the way golfers moved around the course, Motocaddy set a standard for innovation that continues today. The brand has led the evolution of electric buggies for more than two decades, pioneering the transition to lightweight lithium power, compact folding designs, and integrated GPS technology that puts course intelligence at the golfer’s fingertips.
With more than 650,000 electric golf buggies sold globally, Motocaddy has earned a reputation for reliability, engineering excellence, and thoughtful design that elevate the game without getting in the way.
Innovation Built Into Every Detail
Every Motocaddy buggy begins with real golfer insight. Our development process spans up to two years and involves extensive CAD modelling, prototype testing, on-course trials, and rigorous quality assurance from a global team of engineers and testers. This ensures each model delivers the performance, durability, and ease of use that walking golfers expect.
From remote controlled buggies with touchscreen GPS to the world’s most popular compact folding designs, each Motocaddy model reflects a simple philosophy: remove strain, enhance comfort, and help players enjoy a more consistent round.
Motocaddy buggies are regularly awarded by leading golf media outlets for being among the best electric golf buggies available, praised for their smooth control, long-lasting lithium batteries, and smart, course-ready features.

Launch of Motocaddy Australia
After more than fifteen years in the Australian market through distributors, Motocaddy officially launched direct to Australian golfers in September 2025. This marks a major milestone and brings a new level of access, value, and support to players looking to upgrade from a push buggy or buy a premium electric golf buggy in Australia.
Motocaddy Australia is headquartered in Botany, Sydney, where our warehouse and customer support team operate locally to provide fast fulfilment, genuine Australian warranty coverage, and a dedicated service network.
“Motocaddy’s global reputation is built on reliability and innovation. Our role here in Australia is to match that standard with local service, support, and the level of care golfers expect.” – Catherine Arkoudis, Operations Director, Motocaddy Australia.
Launching direct in Australia also means golfers benefit from better value, faster delivery, and a more transparent experience. Our goal is to bring world leading technology closer to the players who deserve it.
As CEO John Helas shared at launch, “Australia represents a key market in our global growth strategy. This is more than just a launch. It is about becoming part of the Australian golf community.”
Why Walking Matters
Walking is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding ways to experience golf. A typical 18 hole round covers close to 12,000 steps and provides meaningful physical and mental health benefits. Research shows that walking golfers feel fitter, maintain better rhythm, and often enjoy improved consistency throughout their round.
Motocaddy electric golf buggies unlock these benefits without the physical strain. They allow golfers to walk confidently and comfortably while the buggy carries the load. For weekend players, seniors, and golfers upgrading from a manual push buggy, Motocaddy makes walking easier than ever.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Motocaddy continues to reduce environmental impact through initiatives such as eliminating polystyrene from packaging, expanding battery recycling programs, and exploring sustainable materials for future product ranges. Better engineering, longer product life cycles, and responsible manufacturing remain central to our approach.
Proud to Support Australian Golfers
Motocaddy Australia is committed to strengthening the walking golf culture that so many players value. We aim to give golfers products that make every round feel easier, more enjoyable, and more connected to the game.
In 2025 we proudly supported The Longest Day by the Cancer Council. The event brings golfers together across Australia to walk 36, 54, or 72 holes in a single day to raise funds for cancer research. Motocaddy was honoured to contribute prizes and on-course support for participants, helping walkers take on the challenge with greater comfort and confidence. Supporting events that bring the golf community together is an important part of who we are and what we stand for in Australia.
Every Motocaddy buggy is created with a single purpose, helping golfers walk further, play better, and enjoy more of the game they love.
